Criteria for Partnership

If you manage a programme or fund animal health research with a budget exceeding $10 million over a five-year period, you meet the criteria for partnership and are eligible to join the STAR-IDAZ Executive Committee.

If your budget is below this threshold, you can still participate by joining a consortium with other organizations in your country or region. Contact us for more information and join our [Regional Networks] to connect with other organizations in your area.

What Does Partnership Entail?

STAR-IDAZ IRC is a self-funded network where partners actively contribute to its governance. Each partner designates one representative to join the Executive Committee. Executive Committee members participate in two meetings annually (one online and one in person) and may also attend Working Group meetings.

To keep the Executive Committee’s size manageable, countries with multiple participating programme owners or funding bodies are encouraged to designate a single representative or form a national consortium.
